My Masterpiece

Arturo is a charming, sophisticated, and rather unscrupulous gallerist. Renzo is a morose painter in clear decadence. Their universes and ideas are opposite, yet these two protagonists are the closest of friends. Willing to risk it all, they develop an extreme and ludicrous plan to save themselves. What results is tension, drama, emotion and humour. The director Andrés Duprat (screenwriter of El ciudadano ilustre and El hombre de al lado) delivers a reflection on the contradictions of artistic creation and the limits of friendship.

Director: Adrián Caetano  •  Script: Adrián Caetano, Nora Mazzitelli  •  Actors: Leonardo Sbaraglia, Daniel Hendler, Erasmo Olivera

Wild Tales

Vulnerable before a reality that can suddenly be modified and become unpredictable, the characters of Wild Tales cross the thin line that divides civilization from brutality. A story about love deception, the return of the past, a tragedy, or even the violence contained in an everyday detail, appear themselves to push them towards the abyss, into the undeniable pleasure of losing control.

Director: Artemio Benki

Solo

Solo is a lyrical document about solitude and a return to life. Martin P. is a young Argentinian piano virtuoso and a composer who has spent the last four years of his life in south America´s largest psychiatric hospital, El Borda. Once a child musical prodigy and the most promising talent of his generation, he is now searching for a means to overcome his mental illness, to return to a life beyond the walls of the sanatorium and find a way to the concert stage. In the meantime, he is working on a new composition entitled ENFERMARIA. The film Solo tells the universal story of an obsessive quest for a perfect creation, the story of the evolution of a man who draws strength from his own vulnerability.
